Everything worked well except for not being able to check our bikes through on the second flight. We had to bring them to the hotel with us.<\/p>\n<p>We arrived in Spain and spent an hour spreading out on the floor of the baggage claim area assembling our bikes. It was a bit rough leaving the airport &#8211; we found ourself on a bit of a motorway and got lost a bit, but eventually got on to a nice cycle path towards the city. We were graciously hosted by Imma&#8217;s friend Marina. We had dinner with them, tried Spanish Omelette, and Marina took as walking to a hilltop with a nice nighttime view over Barcelona.
