It was rather drafty and not particularly pleasant. Our muesli was tasty as always though. We set off at 8:45am targeting the 10am ferry 16km away from Sulesund to Hareid. We made it with plenty of time to spare, narrowly avoiding some French campervans that overtook us rather more closely than the Norwegians and then did not fully understand the concept of queuing at the ferry terminal.<\/p>\n<p>The day was pretty dreary as we continued to the second ferry at 57km, with the rain coming and going. We saw two stags, in yet another wildlife encounter, with huge antlers that ran away as we cycled by! With a last minute sprint to the second ferry, we made it with about a minute to spare, with them raising the ramp to depart immediately after we boarded from Arvika to Koparnes.<\/p>\n<p>Over our mackerel sandwiches in Koparnes we deliberated our itinerary for the rest of the trip. As we are much ahead of schedule, we&#8217;ve decided to drop from 100km per day to 80km per day. With the 100km days we&#8217;re constantly working from waking up and breaking camp at 7am to finishing our photos and blog post at 10pm. With the shorter last few days we hope to be able to finally watch some episodes of TV on the tablet and make some progress through our books.<\/p>\n<p>So today we stopped at kilometre 88 in a very perfect campsite. It&#8217;s almost too perfect &#8211; with freshly cut grass, picnic tables, a garbage can, and relative distance from the main road.
