Everything went pretty smoothly apart from us going to the wrong place to pick up our bikes, Viki&#8217;s front brakes not working well, and my chain rubbing against my front derailleur.<\/p>\n<p>We had planned in advance where we would sleep &#8211; a spot in some trees about a 30km cycle from the airport. But super last minute, Xavier, from Warm Showers, invited us to stay with him for the night. So we created a new route, also around 30km from the airport and arrived around 9pm, just after twilight. The weather was crazy &#8211; we got pummeled by thundering rain, followed by a brief visit by the sun before dusk.<\/p>\n<p>Xavier invited us in, provided us with showers, beer, pizza, and fuet, and we had a lovely discussion about biking around Europe.
