After graduation Mrs. Ferguson was employed by the Oldham (England) Education Authority from 1989 - 1991 as a Grade 1 teacher. In this position, she was responsible for Maths and Computer Studies throughout the school. After teaching for three years in an English School environment, Ms Ferguson, together with her teacher husband, decided to venture forth into Borneo, where for three years they taught in an isolated jungle community.
Her personal interests include reading, art, history,cookery, water colour painting and cinema. She also has an interest in languages, having acquired more than a smattering of French, Malay, German and Cantonese. We are delighted that Mrs. Ferguson will be teaching Grade 1 again at Mulgrave this year. She will be very involved not only in co-ordinating the Art programme, but also in our burgeoning Drama classes/productions.
